Since we live in integration times Geoeconomic forum(GEOFO) considers important to provide and spread of knowledge about processes of integration and foreign policies which have power to affect the Republic of Croatia, and every day life of its citizens, Southeast Europe, Europe and the World.

The Forum encourages that kind of Croatian economic culture that gives the advantage to the social solidarity.

Geoeconomic forum is dedicated to being a resource to help people better understand Southeast Europe, Europe, the World and the foreign policy structural and political choices facing Croatia and the Region.There is a real lack of konwledge about these things international, and purposes of Croatia's diplomacy.

Geoeconomic forum is oriented to quality, independence, and impact. Activities, the analysis and recommendations of GEOFO' s experts absolutley reflect its commitment.

The Silk Road Think Tank Network (SILKS) was launched during the 2015 Silk Road Forum held on October 28th and 29th, 2015, in Madrid. The Network includes more than 40 other think-tanks and international organizations.

Jasna Plevnik at the China-CEEC Institute's seminar in Budapest

BUDAPEST- 29 - Februray - 2024 – Prof. dr. Zhao Zhimin, Secretary-general of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences wellcomed the participants of the seminar on China-CEEC Cooperation: Prospects and Paths. Prof. Dr. Zhao stated that big powers do have not the same goals which has caused geopolitical and economic risks for the stability of the world.

Zhao said that despite the context of a sluggish world economy and increased geopolitical risks, China's economy has resumed growth and is opening to the outside world. "China and the EU are important strategic partners, and we welcome the EU to share China's large-scale market opportunities and obtain more cooperation opportunities," he stressed.

He said the risk of nuclear war has been caused by the current situation, which emerged with the war in Ukraine.” It is a big worry for us that we cannot see stable strategic point”, Zhao pointed out.

SHENZHEN – November 26th-28th, 2023 - The Forum „Take the Initiative of Green Development, Explore a Future with Low Carbon Technologies“ kicked off in Shenzhen on November 26, was hosted and sponsored by Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government, and co-organized by the Development and Reform Commission of Shenzhen Municipality, and the Ecology Environment Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality.

The theme of the 2023 forum was focused on Green Development and Exploring a Future with Low Carbon Technologies, through the thematic forum, seminar, international theme day, and other forms of activities.

"We must pay attention to the fact that those ongoing wars have the power to delay action against climate change not regionally but globally and ruin the path to true sustainability which needs sustainable peace. As you all know when there is a war, it is harder to comply with the Paris Agreement on climate change or to build a developed carbon market", Dr. Jasna Plevnik, President of the Geoeconomic Forum croatia, said.

Wuzhen – November 8-2023- The President of the Geoeconomic Foruma Croatia, Jasna Plevnik delivered a speech at the 2023 World Internet Conference kicked off on November 8 in the ancient water town of Wuzhen in East China's Zhejiang province entitled "Geopolitics and -- Building a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace.

President of China Xi Jinping addressed the opening ceremony of the 2023 Wuzhen Summit via video link.

President Xi Jinping called for joint efforts for the building of a community with a shared future in cyberspace to enable the internet to better benefit people of all countries.

The internet is increasingly becoming a new driving force for development, a new domain for safeguarding security, and a new platform for cultural exchange, Xi added.

President Xi called on the international community to deepen exchanges and pragmatic cooperation to jointly advance to a new stage the building of a community with a shared future in cyberspace.

"China is willing to work with all parties to implement the Global AI Governance Initiative and promote the secure development of artificial intelligence", he said.
