Jasna Plevnik (jplevnik@hgk.hr) Vice-president of Geoeconomic Forum. Initiated the foundation of the Geoeconomic Forum.
Senior specialist, at the Croatian Chamber of Economy, member of the Karlovac County Parliament, member of the County board for European Integration. Employed at Holding Jugoturbina Company (1981-1991). As a journalist published numerous articles about globalisation and interviews with Lester C. Thurow, Lawrence Eagelburger, Carl Bildt, etc.(1992-2000).
Doctor's degree in economic globalisation and geoeconomic diplomacy at the Faculty of Political Science of the University of Zagreb. Area of special interest: shaping and running of foreign policy using geoeconomic instruments, and establishment of economic stability in the region.
Participated in the Salzburg seminar, Session: New Transatlantic Agenda (1999).

Zoran Ja¹iæ (zjasic@efzg.hr) Vice-president of Geoeconomic Forum. Full Professor of Finance at Faculty of Economy, University of Zagreb. He was Minister of Finance in Government of Republic Croatia (1992-1994) and Ambassador of Croatia to Germany.
He has current primary research interests in the public sector in transitional countries, economy of education and culture and secondary ones in the economic and financial aspects of globalisation and the finance of European Union.
He received his PhD in public finance from Faculty of Economy, University of Zagreb.
Member of Europäische Vereinigung für Hochschulwesen, Frankfurt/Main, Südosteuropa Gesellschaft, München and Croatian-Austrian Society, Zagreb.

Vitomir Begoviæ (vbegovic@vlada.hr) Head of the Croatian Government Tripartism Office. Finishing postgraduate studies on the subject: Education of Adults in Conditions of Economic Globalisation. One of the leading Croatian experts in relations among the government, employers and unions.
Chief Secretary of SSSH-a, the largest Croatian Trade Union (1997-2000), Chief Secretary of the Industrial Democracy Centre (2000), Chairman of the Economic and Social Council Tripartite Body (2000 - 2001).
Participated in many international seminars: Technical Training Program for the Societies in Transition, organized by AFL-CIO and USAID (1997); a training programme at George Meany Centre, Washington (1998); Experiences of Local Dialogue, a seminar held in Belgium (2002); Development of Institutions and National Social Dialogue, Stability Pact seminar held in Sarajevo (2003).

John C. Court (jcourt@fuse.net) is currently a writer of essays on foreign policy and economy.. He lives in Ohio and NY near Buffalo. He has had various roles including management, financial reporting, borrowing, etc. mostly also in initially small companies.
He was Chairman, President (1985-2002), Plant Manager of Multi-Color Company which has 10 label plants and a stock listed on the NASDAQ. Court was Vice-President and CEO, (1978-1983) N-Ren Co, chemical plants worldwide. He was Vice-President, FNCB, a large commercial bank in Chicago from 1975 to 1978.
Before then, he was a non-political government official in both foreign and
domestic agencies in the US government reaching the highest level. From 1969 to 1973 he worked with Henry Kissinger as Assistant For Plans, NSC, The White House.
He graduated at Amherst College and after then as a Researcher, NBER, economic research in NYC. Columbia.
He received his MBA from Harvard Business School.
Court has also been a teacher of business and globalization at the University of Cincinnati and Nothern Kentucky University

Vlatko Mileta Full Professor at the Faculty of Political Science of the University of Zagreb; Head of the Department for the international economic relations.
Chief Editor of the book collection "Politièka misao" and member of the editorial staff of the "Politièka misao" magazine.
Has been the Dean of the Faculty of Political Science, member of the Advisory Board of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Distinguished researcher in many scientific projects such as: "European Economic area and position of Croatia", "European Security and Cooperation". Currently chief of project "Croatia and European Integration.
Took his doctor's degree at the Faculty of Political Science in Zagreb.

Danko Plevnik (danko.plevnik@ka.htnet.hr) Columnist and International Relations Analyst at Slobodna Dalmacija, daily paper in Split. After specialist training in the USA, influenced by strategist Edward N. Luttwak, he was the first to promote the idea of geoeconomy in Croatia (1992).
Field of special interest: strategy of global political planning and security.
Awards: Croatian Journalist of the Year, award by Slobodna Dalmacija (1991) and Croatian Journalist of the Year, award by the Croatian Journalist Association (1991 and 1992).
Member of the Executive Board of the European Journalist Association (1999-2001).
