„There has been a lot of pressure, especially from the United States, it has become difficult for anyone in Europe to say positive things about China or to have relations as before", denounces Jasna Plevnik, President of the Geoeconomic Forum, a think tank close to the interests of Beijing(remark of the journalist) in which sit two former Croatian presidents. "The bridge is a great success and could have opened European markets to the Chinese, but there is no real free competition anymore, it's all politics.
Jasna Plevnik continues to think that current situation is "everything contrary to European interests if no longer wants to cooperate with the future great economic power in the world".
She is one of the few who still believes in this in the country of three, 9 million 'inhabitants.“
