Shanghai top-tier scientists for cyberspace issues led by Xu Jiong, Director General of Cyberspace Administration of Shanghai Municipality, on July 2, 2024 met with the Geoeconomic Forum's leadership.
In his remarks, Xu Jiong, Director General of Cyberspace Administration of Shanghai Municipality noted that cybersecurity is in the global spotlight, elaborating that China supports building capabilities to respond to major cyberattacks and working with partners globally to ensure the most effective response to cyber threats which are almost always cross-border.
The President of the Geoeconomic Forum Croatia Jasna Plevnik stressed that the current tense geopolitical situation in the world influences security in cyberspace.
Reflecting on Croatia's cyber security strategy Jasna Plevnik said it has been closely connected with the EU Cybersecurity strategy and implements measures that cover the security of networks and essential services.
