Since we live in integration times Geoeconomic forum(GEOFO) considers important to provide and spread of knowledge about processes of integration and foreign policies which have power to affect the Republic of Croatia, and every day life of its citizens, Southeast Europe, Europe and the World.

The Forum encourages that kind of Croatian economic culture that gives the advantage to the social solidarity.

Geoeconomic forum is dedicated to being a resource to help people better understand  Southeast Europe, Europe, the World and the foreign policy structural and political  choices facing Croatia and the Region.There is a real lack of konwledge about these things international, and purposes  of Croatia's diplomacy.

Geoeconomic forum is oriented to quality, independence,  and impact. Activities, the analysis and recommendations of GEOFO' s experts  absolutley reflect its commitment.

Xi Jinping, President of China, sent New Year greetings to Stjepan Mesić, former President of Croatia and member of the Advisory Board of the Geoeconomic Forum

BEIJING- ZAGREB- DECEMBER 24- 2024- Chinese President Xi Jinping sent New Year greetings to Stjepan Mesić, former President of the Republic of Croatia (2000 -2010) and member of the Advisory Board of the Geoeconomic Forum.

Former President Mesić sent a congratulatory message to the Chinese President, stressing that the national strategic plan of the Communist Party of China, "Made in China 2025," fulfilled all its goals. In 2025, China stands as a technologically powerful country with its semiconductor industry and discoveries in other fields of high tech despite all the difficulties it faced in international relations.

Jasna Plevnik at the he 10th China-CEEC High-level Think Tanks Symposium

BEIJING- NOVEMEBER – 29 - 2024 - Jasna Plevnik, President of the Geoeconomic Forum Croatia participated in the 10th Symposium of Think Tanks of China and Central and Eastern European Countries  in Beijing hosted by CASS and organized by the Institute of European Studies, CASS, in Beijing on November 29, 2024. 

Speaking during the plenary session „Cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European Countries in a Changing World“ Jasna Plevnik urged the European Union to shift its dependence  of America's anti-China policy toward constructive engagement with China.

She referred to the disastrous effect of the EU's turn towards geopolitics, which negatively affects EU-China relations, and consequently the China- CEEC's dynamics.

Conference on the possibilities of economic, trade and urban cooperation between Zagreb and the Qianhai Development Zone

ZAGREB – SEPTEMBER – 9 – The Croatian Chinese Cultural Center (HKKC) and the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone of Shenzhen organized a conference on the possibilities of economic, trade and urban cooperation between Zagreb and the Qianhai Development Zone on September 9, 2024, in Zagreb, in which entrepreneurs from Croatia and China participated.

The President of the HKKC, Liying Lily Liu Pilato, said that Croatia and China have a successful cooperation and that cooperation in the field of new industries should be encouraged in the coming years. She emphasized that cooperation with the Qianhai zone has great potential since it is a special zone within the Shenzhen Special Zone in Guangdong Province, China's richest province, which is focused on innovations in the modern service industry.
